Kevin D. Jensen is a Congressional candidate who has run for U.S. House in South Dakota. He is an Independent, a former Republican who switched parties in 2017. Jensen is a rancher and farmer and has been on the state's Public Utilities Commission. He has won two statewide elections to the Public Utilities Commission, first elected in 2002. Jensen had worked as a realtor and run a tire business before serving on the Commission regulating utilities and carriers in the state.
