Amber Arlint (0012)

Amber Arlint is a Republican representative for District 12 in the South Dakota House of Representatives. She grew up in Freeman, South Dakota, and now resides in Sioux Falls with her husband Trenton and their two children, Braxton and Scotti. Arlint owns an insurance agency on the south side of Sioux Falls.

Education and Political Experience

Arlint graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Master’s Degree and worked there as the Director of Student Leadership Development for five years. She later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2015, where she worked in sales for an energy company before opening her own insurance agency. She returned to South Dakota to raise her family and expand her business.

In politics, she serves on the House Committee on Retirement Laws and the House Committee on Education. She has announced her re-election campaign for District 12 House.
