ABOUT
Ben Krohmer currently serves as Councilmember and Mayor Pro Tempore for the City of Minot, North Dakota. He was first elected to this position in 2016 and ran unopposed for re-election in 2020. Prior to serving on the City Council, Ben worked for over 30 years as a band director and music teacher in Minot Public Schools. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education from Minot State University. Ben serves on several local boards and committees related to the arts, education, infrastructure, and economic development in the Minot area. He and his wife Jackie have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren.read less
