Jennifer L. Longdon was paralyzed from the waist down when she was struck by a stray bullet at age 24. After six months of rehabilitation, she resumed her university studies and graduated from ASU, later earning a Master's of Social Work from ASU. Longdon worked at the Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association before founding a private firm to provide life coaching and career counseling to people with disabilities. She also served on Phoenix's Commission on Disability Issues, served as chair of the Phoenix Human Relations Commission and vice-chair of Phoenix's Mayor Advisory Council on Agingread less
