Biography

Leo Biasiucci is a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 30 since 2023. Born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he has resided for over 30 years, he previously represented District 5 from 2019 to 2023 following redistricting. Elected in 2018 after defeating incumbent Paul Mosley in the Republican primary, Biasiucci serves as House Majority Leader and Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Notable achievements include sponsoring 2024 legislation to ease housing construction by banning cities from mandating homeowners associations and restricting lot size regulations for single-family homes in larger cities. In 2016, he ran unsuccessfully as a Green Party candidate before switching to the Republican Party, citing a non-partisan commitment to environmental protection.
