Biography
Cesar Aguilar is a Democratic Arizona State Representative for District 26, which includes the Alhambra and Maryvale communities in Phoenix and east Glendale. Born and raised in Phoenix by a working-class family—his mother was an English Language Learner teacher and his father a Union Heat & Frost Insulator in Local #73—he advocates for working-class families, education accessibility, and Latino children in K-12 and higher education. Notable achievements include serving five years as Executive Director of the Arizona Students' Association, where he trained and organized over a thousand student leaders, and sponsoring bills like HB2070 on emergency response plans with community engagement and HB2072 on same-day voter registration.
