Biography
Zack Wirth is a Republican politician representing Montana House District 17, which includes Lewis and Clark and Powell counties. Born on June 9, 1951, in Great Falls, Montana, he resides in Wolf Creek and works as a rancher. A lifelong Montanan from a family rooted in the state since the 1860s, Wirth is a husband, father of six children, and grandfather of 19. He owns the Rocking Z Guest Ranch, started with his wife Patricia in 2000, and emphasizes conservative values, rural strength, fiscal responsibility, and support for families, farmers, and small businesses. He was first appointed to the Montana House in 2023 for District 80 due to a vacancy, then elected to District 17 in 2024 with 75% of the vote. Notable positions include Vice Chair of the House Transportation Committee, and service on the House State Administration and House Agriculture committees.
