Zack Gramlich is a Republican state representative for Arkansas House District 50, which covers the southern and central parts of Fort Smith in Sebastian County. A Fort Smith native, lifelong educator, devoted Catholic, husband to Tiffany, and father to daughters Bonnie and Cynthia, he was first elected in 2022, reelected in 2024, and is currently serving his second term in the 95th General Assembly .

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Southside High School ; Bachelor of Science in Biology with teaching licensure from University of Arkansas-Fort Smith , where he founded the Iota Mu Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and served as Interfraternity Council president; Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
• Professional Experience: Science teacher at Darby Junior High School in Fort Smith Public Schools since 2016, teaching 6th–8th graders in Automation & Robotics and Flight & Space; serves on the Guiding Coalition for Darby Middle School and chairs the Endowment Board of Saint Boniface Catholic Church; selected for Leadership Fort Smith Class .
• Political Experience and Notable Achievements: Serves on House Public Health, Welfare, and Labor Committee; House Insurance and Commerce Committee; Joint Budget Committee; and as Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee; designated Behavioral Health Champion; primary House sponsor for Senate Bill 59 , providing universal free school breakfasts to Arkansas students; champions education reform, health, and economic vitality.
