Zach Hall is a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 5th Legislative District , which includes Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Issaquah, Maple Valley, and parts of North Bend, Renton, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and unincorporated King County. Born in 1994 or 1995, he is a lifelong Issaquah resident appointed to the House in June 2025 to succeed Victoria Hunt, serving through 2026. Notable achievements include leading efforts on the Issaquah City Council to expand funding for affordable housing, public safety, crisis response, climate action, and transportation infrastructure; chairing the Eastside Fire & Rescue Board of Directors; and sponsoring legislation to expand distributed energy resources . He currently serves on the House Environment & Energy, Local Government, and Transportation Committees.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Issaquah High School ; Bachelor of Science in biology and Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington Evans School , with a focus on housing, youth justice, and social safety net policy.
• Political Experience: Legislative assistant in the House ; elected to Issaquah City Council , serving as deputy council president and approving tax exemptions for transit-oriented development ; appointed to Washington House of Representatives .
