Zach Dieken is a Republican state representative for Iowa House District 5, representing O’Brien County. Elected in 2022, he is serving his first term and resides on an acreage outside Granville, his hometown. Born in 1990 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he currently works as an Iowa state trooper and substitute teacher. He serves on committees including Public Safety, Environmental Protections, and the Justice Systems Budget Subcommittee, and has received the Conservative Excellence Award.
