Wilson J. Román López is a Representative for District 17 in the Puerto Rico House of Representatives, affiliated with the Partido Nuevo Progresista *, where he serves as *Portavoz Alterno. He grew up in Aguadilla and has lived most of his life in Moca. A civil engineer by training, he is committed to serving his district by addressing community issues and providing quality service. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his son and family.

Notable achievements and positions: Created the Office of Planning and Land Use and prepared Moca's Land Use Plan; led the Municipal Public Works Department in Moca ; served as Regional Director of the Public Buildings Authority in Aguadilla ; held leadership roles in JCI , including National Vice President and Local President; current member of the House Committee on Desarrollo Económico.

Education and Political Experience

Education:
- Graduated with honors from José de Diego High School.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico .

Political Experience:
- Began career in 1998 at the Department of Housing .
- Recruited by Moca Mayor Eustaquio Vélez in 2000 to establish planning initiatives.
- Elected Representative for District 17 .
