Biography
Senator Willis Curdy ** represents **Senate District 49 in Montana, based in Missoula. Born on October 30, 1947, in Missoula, he is a lifelong Montanan raised in the Bitterroot Valley, where his family operated a Grade A dairy and large poultry operation supplying milk and eggs across western Montana.
Education and Political Experience
Curdy graduated from Corvallis High School and earned a history degree followed by a Master's in Education from the University of Montana. He served as the state representative for House District 98 for eight years before transitioning to the Senate. In 2017, he introduced legislation providing oversight on abusive puppy mills, demonstrating his commitment to constituent priorities without a private agenda. He is recognized as a DLCC Spotlight candidate and actively sponsors bills, such as SB 219.
