Biography
William P. Coley II is a former Republican state senator from Ohio who represented the 4th District in the Ohio Senate from 2011 to 2020. Prior to the Senate, he served four terms in the Ohio House of Representatives. Born on August 5, 1960, he is a business and litigation attorney with over 35 years of experience, specializing in bankruptcy and real estate, and holds an AV Preeminent rating while licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Notable achievements include chairing committees for 10 years, founding the Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee and Correctional Institution Inspection Committee, serving on the Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission, and acting as president of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States.
