William Penterman

District: Wisconsin State Assembly District 38
William Penterman serves as State Representative for Wisconsin's 38th Assembly District, which encompasses parts of Dodge and Jefferson Counties. His district includes the cities of Watertown, Jefferson, Juneau, and Horicon, as well as several villages including Hustisford, where he resides.
Penterman is actively involved in his community through various organizational memberships, including the Dodge County Farm Bureau, Dodge County Republican Party, Columbus Historical Society, and Bethany Lutheran Church in Hustisford. He holds membership in Phi Beta Kappa and the National Rifle Association.
Political Experience
Penterman was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in a July 2021 special election. He successfully won reelection in both 2022 and 2024, demonstrating continued support from his constituents.
Currently, he serves on the Assembly Committee on Education. Regarding policy positions, Penterman is opposed to recreational marijuana reform and was noted as being absent from co-sponsorship of related legislation during the 2021-22 legislative session.
