Will Morefield is a Republican politician born on January 10, 1984, in Bluefield, West Virginia. He resides in Tazewell, Virginia, and has represented Virginia's 43rd House District , Russell , and Tazewell since January 2010, previously serving the 3rd district until 2024. A small business owner from a multi-generation coalmining family raised in Tazewell County, he is married to April with children Kennedy and Charleston. Notable achievements include being the first elected official to publicly advocate for coal, initiating Project Jonah , and serving on key committees such as Militia, Police, and Public Safety; Counties, Cities, and Towns; General Laws; Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources; and Appropriations.
