Will Bruck (House District 30)

William Bruck is a Republican representative for Michigan's 30th House District, which spans parts of Lenawee and Monroe Counties, including areas like Deerfield and Ridgeway townships, Blissfield Township, Luna Pier, Petersburg, and various townships in Monroe County. Born on May 28, 1974, in Monroe, he is married to Natalie and has eight children: Gregory, Zechariah, William Jr., AnaElise, Alice, Hancock, Leland, Avonlea, and Standish. A Baptist, Bruck resides in Erie, Monroe County, and has served in the Michigan House since his election in November 2022, with re-election in November 2024. Notable achievements include his military service as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in the U.S. Army since 1992, with four combat tours , earning two Bronze Stars, a Meritorious Service Medal, five Army Commendation Medals, and a Combat Action Badge. He chairs the House Oversight Committee's Homeland Security and Foreign Influence Subcommittee, serves as vice chair of the State and Local Assistance Programs Subcommittee, and sits on the Oversight and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees. Bruck introduced legislation like the Foreign Influence of State Institutions of Higher Education Act to restrict agreements between Michigan colleges and foreign nations of concern.
