Wes Kitchens is a Republican state senator representing District 9 in the Alabama Senate, which covers Blount, Madison, and Marshall Counties. Born on March 4, 1989, he was elected to the Senate in a special election in January 2024 after serving two terms in the Alabama House of Representatives for District 27 starting in 2018.
