David Wesley "Wes" Climer is a Republican state senator representing District 15 in the South Carolina Senate since 2016. Born on September 26, 1982, in Charlotte, NC, he is a financial advisor, married to Martie Behrens, and a father. Notable achievements include serving as Chairman of the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and membership on key committees such as Family and Veterans' Services, Finance, Labor Commerce and Industry, Legislative Oversight, and Transportation.
