Biography
Wendy Rogers is a Republican state senator representing Arizona's 7th legislative district. Born on July 24, 1954, she is a retired U.S. Air Force officer who served from 1976 to 1996 as a fifth-generation military officer.
Education and Political Experience
Rogers unsuccessfully ran for various state and federal offices between 2010 and 2018. In 2020, she won election to the Arizona Senate by defeating incumbent Republican Sylvia Allen in the primary for the 6th district and Democrat Felicia French in the general election; redistricting later placed her in the 7th district, where she was reelected in 2022.
