Webster Barnaby

Republican Representative for Florida House District 29

Webster Barnaby was born on December 9, 1959, in Birmingham, England, and relocated to Florida in 1991. He is a Christian and is married to Silvia, with whom he has two children, Britney and Adrian. Barnaby has established himself as a community-focused leader in Volusia County, serving in various capacities to represent and advocate for his constituents.

Education

Barnaby attended Birmingham Metropolitan College and Matthew Boulton Technical College Campus in Birmingham, England, where he earned an Associate degree in Business.

Political Experience

Barnaby was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2020, representing District 29 in Volusia County, and has been reelected subsequently. His current term extends through 2028.

Within the legislature, Barnaby holds several significant positions. He serves as Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee and Vice Chair of the Criminal Justice Subcommittee. He also sits on the Ways & Means Committee and the Agriculture & Natural Resources Budget Subcommittee, as well as the Health Care Facilities & Systems Subcommittee.

Prior to his service in the state legislature, Barnaby contributed to his community as a former Deltona City Commissioner and Board Member. In his professional capacity, he serves as President of an LLC.
