Wayne K. Farrin is a Democratic state representative serving House District 47 in the Maine House of Representatives, which includes the towns of Alna, Jefferson, Whitefield, and Wiscasset. He resides in Jefferson, is married to Lynn, and has two children. Farrin works as a real estate broker and general store owner, with prior experience in commercial shipping for 11 years after obtaining his marine engineer's license. He was elected in November 2024, defeating Republican Ed Polewarczyk with 51.7% of the vote, and took office on December 3, 2024. Notable affiliations include the Damariscotta Area Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Budget Committee, and Lincoln County Board of Realtors.
