Biography

Warren Daniel is a Republican state senator representing District 46 in the North Carolina Senate, which includes Burke, McDowell, and eastern Buncombe counties following redistricting. First elected in 2010, he is currently in his eighth term during the 2025-2026 session and resides in Morganton, NC. A North Carolina native raised in Burke County as the oldest of four children, he is married to Lydia Furr and has three daughters; he serves in leadership roles at his local church, including the deacon board and AWANA children's program.
