Biography
Veronica Turner is a Democratic delegate representing District 26 in Prince George's County, Maryland, in the Maryland House of Delegates. Born February 7, 1950, in Washington, D.C., she has served in the House from 2003 to 2015 and since 2019, currently assigned to the Economic Matters Committee. Notable achievements include leadership as chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland , receipt of the Casper R. Taylor, Jr., Founder's Award from the House of Delegates in 2013, and prior roles such as president of Service Employees International Union Local 63 and clinical specialist at Prince George's Hospital Center . She is married with four children.
