Venise Karris is a Democratic Assemblymember representing District 10 in the Nevada Assembly, covering part of Clark County. Born February 1, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, she moved to Nevada in 1995 as a single mother with two daughters, Lauren and Samantha. A retired Journeyman Wireman, her recreation includes reading, sewing, and fingerloop knitting.
