Vanessa Oliver is a Republican representative for Florida House District 76, which includes DeSoto County and parts of Charlotte and Lee Counties. Elected in 2024, she serves until 2032 and resides in Punta Gorda, Florida. Born on January 17 in Boston, Massachusetts, she moved to Port Charlotte in 1988, where she spent her childhood attending local schools including Peace River Elementary, Port Charlotte Middle School, and Charlotte High School. A Catholic, she is married with three children: Catherine, James, and Julian. Her occupation is CEO and Chief Administrative Officer at Ambitrans Ambulance, and she is Board Certified in Health Law by The Florida Bar.
