Vance Smith, Jr. is a Republican representing House District 138 in the Georgia House of Representatives, covering portions of Harris, Muscogee, and Troup counties. He resides in Harris County and has been married to Michele, a former teacher, for 47 years; they have three children and seven grandsons. Smith owns and operates Vance Smith Contracting & Consulting, LLC, providing business development services for construction and engineering firms; he previously served as president and CEO of Vance Smith Construction Company, founded in 1974.
