Biography
Van H. Wanggaard is a Republican state senator representing District 21 in Wisconsin, covering parts of Racine, up to Franklin, and other communities in Milwaukee County. A former police officer, he is the longest-serving Republican state senator, first elected in 2010 and reelected since 2014. He announced his retirement at the end of his term.
