Valli D. Geiger is a Democratic State Representative for House District 42 in Maine, representing Criehaven Township, Matinicus Isle, Muscle Ridge Islands, North Haven, Owls Head, and Rockland in Knox County. A registered nurse by occupation, she was first elected in November 2020 and is currently in her third term . She serves on the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee and the Labor Committee, focusing on energy policy, utilities, labor relations, workers' compensation, and public employee retirement. Notable prior roles include director of the Healthreach Hospice program, clinical director for Federally Qualified Health Centers, six years on the Rockland City Council , and four years on the Rockland Comprehensive Planning Commission. She holds affiliations as a board member of Habitat for Humanity.
