Tullio Liberati Jr. is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 2nd District since 2023 following redistricting. He serves constituents in Allen Park, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, Ecorse, and parts of Southgate. A lifelong resident of Allen Park, he is married to Constance Liberati, his high school sweetheart of over 26 years, and is the father of two children, Tullio III and Olivia. Liberati previously represented the 13th District from 2021 to 2022, succeeding his term-limited brother, Frank Liberati. He was elected in 2020, re-elected in 2022 with over 60% of the vote, and again in 2024. Notable positions include Majority Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules. In 2025, he broke party lines to support a resolution enforcing a federal ban on transgender girls in women's sports in Michigan.

  • Professional Background: Licensed residential builder and contractor for over 23 years; founder and owner of Liberati and Son's Construction. Worked construction summers during college, developing a passion for masonry.
