Senator Troy Singleton is a Democrat representing New Jersey's 7th Legislative District, which includes parts of Burlington County such as Beverly, Bordentown, Burlington, Cinnaminson, Delran, Edgewater Park, Florence, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Palmyra, Riverside, Riverton, and Willingboro. He currently serves as Senate Majority Caucus Chair , previously as Majority Whip , Chairman of the Senate Community and Urban Affairs Committee, Vice Chair of the Senate Economic Growth Committee, and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is also the Senate Democratic appointee to the Amistad Commission. Notable achievements include sponsoring the Black Heritage Trail legislation , which established a trail by the New Jersey Historical Commission with $1 million appropriated, and having numerous proposals enacted on affordable housing, job creation, economic development, domestic violence prevention, and education.
