Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier

Tricia Farley-Bouvier is an American state legislator serving in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. A lifelong Pittsfield resident, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to her community through various forms of public service. As a member of three legislative caucuses—the House Progressive Caucus, the Gateway Cities Caucus, and the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators—she actively contributes to collaborative legislative efforts.
Her legislative priorities have focused on early education, child welfare, K-12 school funding, West-East Rail initiatives, and regional equity for Pittsfield, the Berkshires, and Western Massachusetts more broadly.
Education
Farley-Bouvier earned her Bachelor's Degree in Special and Elementary Education from Salve Regina University and completed her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut. She is a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Political Experience
Farley-Bouvier began her public service career as a Pittsfield City Councilor from 2004 to 2008. She was first elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives through a special election on October 18, 2011, and has served continuously since then. Currently, she serves as *House Chair of the Joint Committee on Advanced Information Technology, the Internet and Cybersecurity * in the 193rd legislative session.
