Senator Treg Bernt

Treg A. Bernt, a Republican, represents Idaho State Senate District 21 , serving his second term after assuming office on December 1, 2022. Born March 18, 1976, in Pocatello, Idaho, he is a fourth-generation Idahoan, businessman, and family man with wife Tiffanie and three children. He owns a flooring business in the Treasure Valley, previously worked as a Territory Manager for Shaw Industries, and emphasizes small business values. Notable roles include Vice-Chair of the State Affairs Committee, service on Local Government & Taxation and Commerce and Human Resources Committees, Legislative Council, Idaho Broadband Advisory Board, and Board of Directors for Your Health Idaho. He previously served two terms on the Meridian City Council, including as City Council President, with community involvement since 2007 in roles like Boy Scouts, youth sports coaching, and church responsibilities.
