Travis Sitzmann

Travis M. Sitzmann is an American politician from Le Mars, Iowa, serving as a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives. He represents House District 13, having assumed office following his election in 2024. Before entering the legislature, Sitzmann worked as a Plymouth County reserve sheriff's deputy.

Political Experience

Sitzmann's entry into electoral politics began in 2024 when he secured the Republican Party nomination for Iowa House District 13 by defeating Noah Wieseler in the primary. He subsequently won the general election, prevailing against Democratic candidate Rosanne Plante and political independent Parker Hansen.
