Travis Ismay (28B)

Biography

Travis Ismay is a Republican representative for District 28B in the South Dakota House of Representatives, serving since 2025. Born and raised near Vale, South Dakota, on the family farm and ranch, he is a rancher, welder, and strict constitutionalist who emphasizes reducing government overreach and lowering taxes. He is married to Dusta since 1998 and has six children; his father was a veterinarian in Sturgis for 53 years, and his mother a microbiologist.
