Biography
Tracy Steele is a Democratic representative for Arkansas House District 72, covering parts of North Little Rock and Pulaski County. Born on December 18, 1963, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, he is a Baptist, married to Cassandra with two children, and works as a consultant and trainer. In 2025, he was re-elected to the House, becoming the first person to serve in three different decades . Notable achievements include championing after-school programs, assisted-living initiatives, children's mental health parity, establishing a state holiday for Daisy Gatson Bates, mandating physical education in schools, and creating the Kids for Health Program. He founded STAND! News and The STAND Foundation for community issues and youth leadership, and served as executive director of the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission.
