Tracy Clark is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 57 . She assumed office on August 6, 2024, after being appointed by Governor Roy Cooper to complete her predecessor Ashton Clemmons' term, and won election in November 2024 with 68% of the vote. She serves as House Democratic Freshman Co-Chair and focuses on public education, gun violence prevention, and reproductive rights. Previously a marketing executive, she is president of Women 2 Women Greensboro, boosting fundraising for women and children in need.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Three-time University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate—BA in Journalism and Mass Communication , MBA/MSIS from Kenan-Flagler Business School and School of Information and Library Science . Completed NC Institute of Public Leadership fellowship in 2024.
  • Political Experience: First term ; elected/appointed in 2024 for District 57.
  • Professional Background: Over 15 years in marketing ; former Director of Marketing and board member at a NC wealth management firm sold to Modera Wealth Management.
