Biography

Torren C. Ecker is a Republican who formerly represented Pennsylvania's 193rd Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2019 to early 2026, serving parts of Adams and Cumberland counties. A pragmatic conservative, he practiced law in Hanover, representing families, veterans, farmers, seniors, non-profits, and small businesses in Adams, Cumberland, and York counties. He resides in New Oxford, Adams County, with his wife Laura and children Addy and Oliver. Notable positions included Republican vice chairman of the House Appropriations and Judiciary committees, member of Game and Fisheries, Labor and Industry, and Professional Licensure committees, vice chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, deputy chairman on fiscal policy, deputy whip, and appointments to the Performance-Based Budgeting Panel, Select Committee on Restoring Law and Order, and PSERS board. He also served as Energy & Environment Innovation Fellow.
