Biography
Tony Kurtz is a Republican representative for Wisconsin's 41st Assembly District, serving since 2025 after previously representing the 50th District from 2019 to 2025. He is a businessman, organic farmer, U.S. Army veteran, and CEO of Kaynick Solutions, known for advocating rural values, tax reductions, and family farms.
Born on December 23, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio, Tony Kurtz is a lifelong advocate for rural Wisconsin communities. He resides on a 230-acre certified organic farm near Wonewoc in Juneau County with his wife Kim and has two children, Kaylin and Nick. Kurtz served over 20 years in the U.S. Army as a Cobra helicopter pilot and crash scene investigator before retiring and focusing on farming and business. Notable achievements include supporting a 2021 Republican tax cut proposal of $2.8 billion, serving on the Assembly Committee on Finance, and membership in groups like the American Legion, VFW , and Wisconsin Farm Bureau. He ran unsuccessfully for Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District in 2014.
