Anthony Hartsook is a Republican state representative serving Colorado House District 44, which covers Douglas County communities including Parker, Stonegate, Sierra Ridge, Meridian Village, and Stepping Stone. First elected in 2022 with 57.20% of the vote, he won re-election in 2024 with 58.64% against his Democratic opponent. He currently serves as Republican Minority Caucus Chair. A decorated combat veteran, Hartsook retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 26 years in the U.S. Army, with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the 1990 Gulf War; assignments included the Pentagon Joint Staff, Northern Command in Colorado, Italy, and Korea. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
