Tomi Strock
Tomi Strock is a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 6, a position she has held since January 10, 2023. She is a fourth-generation rancher who has lived in Converse County for over five decades. Strock identifies strongly with conservative values, emphasizing faith, family, and freedom. She is a wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother dedicated to public service and preserving Wyoming's traditional way of life.
Political Experience
Strock won her seat in a competitive race during the 2022 election cycle. In the Republican primary on August 16, 2022, she narrowly defeated incumbent Republican representative Aaron Clausen by just 56 votes with 51% of the vote. She then secured the general election on November 8, 2022, with 64% of the vote, defeating independent candidate Bruce Jones and Democratic nominee Hank Szramkowski.
As a state representative, Strock has championed conservative legislation focused on personal freedoms and limited government. She served as the prime sponsor of House Bill 46, the historic Homeschool Freedom Act, which expanded educational freedoms for Wyoming families.
