Tom Sexton is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 19B since 2025.

Born February 15, 1963, Tom Sexton is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and business executive who served as a combat Special Operations helicopter pilot and Combat Rescue Squadron Commander. He is married to Jeanne Marie with two children, and resides in Waseca. Sexton is actively involved in his community, serving as Chairman of LakeFest , on the Waseca Planning Commission, and participating in the American Legion Honor Guard, VFW, Knights of Columbus, and Lakes Association. Notable committee assignments include Capital Investment, Energy Finance and Policy, and State Government Finance and Policy.

• Education: B.S. in Business Administration, University of Minnesota; M.S. in Aeronautical Sciences, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; Master of Military Operational Art and Science, Air University ; M.S. in Strategic Studies, U.S. Army War College.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Minnesota House in 2024 ; prior service on Waseca Planning Commission.
