Tom Moore is a Republican state representative serving District 18 in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2015. Born in 1952 in Grinnell, Iowa, he resides in Griswold and is married to Jewell with two daughters and one son. A retired teacher, coach, and assistant manager at Southwest Iowa Egg Cooperative, Moore was first elected in a special election to replace Jack Drake in what was then District 21. He currently serves on committees including Education, Health and Human Services , Environmental Protection, Human Resources, State Government, Economic Growth and Technology, and Labor. Notable achievements include induction into the IHSAA Officials Hall of Fame and involvement in youth sports officiating.
