Senator Tom Davis represents South Carolina Senate District 46, covering southern Beaufort County and portions of Jasper County. Born Thomas Christian Davis on May 31, 1960, he has resided in Beaufort, South Carolina, since 1985 and serves as managing partner of the real estate department at Harvey & Battey, P.A., where he practices law.

A notable achievement includes his re-elections in 2012, 2016, and 2020, securing four terms. He chairs the Senate Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee and serves on Finance, Banking and Insurance, Medical Affairs, Legislative Oversight, and Fish, Game and Forestry committees. Davis earned high pro-conservation scores, such as 84% overall and 85% for 2017-2018.
