Todd Edward Pillion is a Republican state senator representing Virginia's 6th Senatorial District, which includes Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Washington, and Wise counties, as well as the cities of Bristol and Norton. A pediatric dentist and business owner from Abingdon, Virginia, he resides there with his wife, Amanda Scott Lawson, and their four children: Virginia, Todd, Henry, and George. Pillion is a member of Abingdon United Methodist Church and has been recognized for leadership on the opioid epidemic, economic development, and conservative policies, including a 100% bill pass rate and awards such as the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award, Award of Merit from the Virginia Pharmacists Association, Child Advocate Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics-Virginia, and Healthcare Hero Award from the Business Journal of the Tri-Cities.
