Biography

Todd Gilbert is a Republican politician born on October 19, 1970, in Newton, Texas. He represents Virginia's 15th House District, a rural area in the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains that includes all of Page and Shenandoah Counties and portions of Warren and Rockingham Counties. First elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2005, he has held key leadership roles, including Majority Leader , Minority Leader after the 2019 elections, and Speaker of the House . His legislative focus is public safety, drawing from his prosecutorial background.
