Biography
Senator Tina Scott Polsky is a Democratic member of the Florida Senate representing District 30, which includes parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties. Born on May 4, 1968, in Merrick, New York, she moved to Florida in 2005 and is affiliated with the Jewish faith. She serves as Vice Chair of the Appropriations Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and Economic Development, and holds positions on committees including Appropriations, Environment and Natural Resources, Ethics and Elections, and Judiciary. Her terms extend through 2030, and she is known as a mediator, activist, and advocate for issues like gun violence prevention and public schools.
