Timothy R. Corcoran II is a Democratic representative for Bennington-2 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving since 2003. A lifelong resident of Bennington, Vermont, born on March 17, 1973, he works in real estate for Mahar McCarthy Real Estate and previously for Hoisington Realty and Chemfab. He is married to Corrie. His father, Timothy R. Corcoran, also served in the Vermont House from 1981 to 1995 and as Bennington town clerk until 2014. Notable positions include Vice Chair of the House Committee on Transportation.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont; earned a BA in political science from Johnson State College in 1996.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Vermont House in 2002; has served continuously since 2003, currently in his 10th+ term through at least 2027. Previously held roles such as Ranking Member on the House Committee on Transportation.
