Biography
Tim McGough is a Republican state senator representing District 11 in the New Hampshire Senate, serving his first term from 2024 to present . Previously, he served three terms as a New Hampshire State Representative for Hillsborough District 12 from 1996-2000 and 2022-2024, totaling six years, during which he was appointed Republican Caucus Whip by the Speaker in his second term and served on key committees including Commerce & Consumer Affairs and Resources, Recreation & Development. In the Senate, he serves on the Commerce Committee, Executive Departments and Administrations , Healthcare Consumer Protection Advisory Commission, NH Canadian Trade Council, and Long Term Drinking Water Commission. Professionally, he is Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of medical device companies focused on cardiovascular life sciences, organ transplantation, and lung health diagnostics; he holds nine patents in biotech including cardiovascular and hemodynamic resuscitation devices, and is a licensed NRP paramedic and AHA Faculty Instructor. Notable community involvement includes youth football and lacrosse coaching, Nashua Fish & Game Assoc., National Council of State Legislatures , and American Legislative Exchange Council.
