Biography

Tim Bearden is a Republican Georgia State Senator representing District 30, which includes Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, and Paulding counties. Born on May 26, 1967, in Japan, he has resided in West Georgia since 1975, currently living in Carrollton with his wife Triska and two adult children, Brantley and Reagan. A Baptist, Bearden is known for championing conservative values, including tax cuts, pro-life positions, stronger immigration laws, and Second Amendment protections; he authored Georgia's largest 2nd Amendment reform bill at the time. He serves on Senate committees for Banking & Financial Institutions, Education & Youth, Science & Technology, and Veterans, Military, & Homeland Security, and currently works as a government affairs manager in the private sector.
