Biography
Tiffany Spann-Wilder is a Democratic member of the South Carolina House of Representatives for District 109 , elected in a 2024 special election and re-elected to a full term in November 2024.
Tiffany Spann-Wilder is a lifelong North Charleston resident, attorney, and former judge serving as a Democrat in the South Carolina House. She won a special election in April 2024 to succeed Deon Tedder in District 109, defeating Eduardo Curry II in the Democratic primary with 60% of the vote, and was unopposed in the general election. Her platform emphasizes curbing youth crime, improving education, and reducing traffic congestion. Notable achievements include receiving the 2025 Winthrop University Alumni Distinguished Service Award, military service as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps , and leadership roles such as past president of the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division . She currently serves on the House Judiciary and Operations and Management Committees, is a lifetime member of the South Carolina Women’s Caucus, and a member of the South Carolina Black Caucus.
